When you set Default Name Servers from WHM<\/a> & assign them with the IP, it still shows the incorrect ones.<\/p>\n

Accessing Home \u00bb DNS Functions \u00bb Nameserver IPs<\/strong> as root shows no IP’s. Even if you update them with \/scripts2\/listassignednsips<\/strong> the IP field shows blank. In earlier cPanel releases you should set them in file \/etc\/nameserverips<\/strong>. Open this file in your favorite editor, and add entry as below.<\/p>\n

10.10.10.1=ns1.yourdomain.com
\n10.10.10.2=ns2.yourdomain.com<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This should show the correct IP’s. But, in the recent cPanel releases they are stored in a .yaml<\/strong> file. YAML is a human-readable data serialization format that takes concepts from programming languages such as C, Perl, etc. Open the file \/var\/cpanel\/nameserverips.yaml<\/strong> and add entry as below.<\/p>\n

ns1.yourdomain.com:
\n10.10.10.1: 1
\ncount: 1
\nzones: yourdomain.com
\nns2.yourdomain:
\n10.10.10.2: 1
\ncount: 1

Update them with command<\/p>\n
