It is a necessary measure to avoid any issues that may arise from the abuse of server resources. To deal with it, you can limit the emails that your clients can send per hour. There are two ways to do it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set one email limit for every account of the server<\/li>\n<li>Set an email limit for a particular account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>To Set Email Limit for All Accounts<\/h2>\n<p>1. Log in to WHM with root access.<\/p>\n<p>2. Select the <strong>Server Configuration<\/strong> option from the navigation menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11806\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whm_server_conf.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1919\" height=\"718\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. Scroll to the <strong>Mail<\/strong> section and go to\u00a0<strong>Max hourly emails per domain<\/strong>\u00a0field. Log in to WHM with root access.<\/p>\n<p>2. Go to the <strong>Resource Limits<\/strong> section and scroll down to the <strong>Maximum Hourly Email by Domain Relayed<\/strong> field. Click the <strong>Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p>WHM will put the prescribed limit on the emails that the account can send in an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Putting limits on sending emails is a smart move for any reseller as it discourages your clients from spamming. Spamming emails will gradually lead to the blacklisting of the IP address.
