If you wish to enable SSH access for a standard account that you have created on your VPS, follow the procedure listed below:<\/p>\n

  1. Open WHM on VPS and go to account functions > then go to \u2018Modify an Account\u2019<\/li>\n
  2. Activate SSH access for the respective account through the \u2018Shell Access\u2019 check box.<\/li>\n
  3. Log in to cPanel of that account, go to SSH\/Shell Access and click on manage SSH keys.<\/li>\n
  4. You can either generate a new key pair or import a key that is already generated on the user\u2019s local computer.<\/li>\n
  5. Authorize the public key through \u2018Manage Authorization\u2019 option.<\/li>\n
  6. Download the public and private keys and give them to the user of the account<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The procedure of enabling SSH is now completed.<\/p>\n
