You can easily install the CMS Made Simple CMS with the use of Softculous in cPanel.<\/p>\n

You need to follow the steps mentioned below in order to install CMS Made Simple through Softaculous:<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong> Login to your “cPanel<\/strong>” account.<\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong> In the section – “Softaculous Apps Installer<\/strong>” present on the cPanel home screen, click on any of the options present under “Categories<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/strong> The Softaculous Installer page will appear.<\/p>\n

STEP 4:<\/strong> In the “Search<\/strong>” box, type “CMS Made Simple<\/strong>” and press Enter. You can also use the navigation panel present on the left hand side for doing this – Click on “Portals\/CMS<\/strong>” and then click on “CMS Made Simple<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

\"Softaculous<\/a><\/p>\n

STEP 5:<\/strong> Click on “Install Now<\/strong>” button and the installation process will be displayed.<\/p>\n

STEP 6:<\/strong> Select the “Protocol<\/strong>” from the “Choose Protocol<\/strong>” list box. (In case you have an SSL certificate on your website, select – “https:\/\/<\/strong>” or “https:\/\/www.<\/strong>” and if you do not have an SSL certificate on your website, select – “http:\/\/<\/strong>” or “http:\/\/www.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

STEP 7:<\/strong> From the “Choose Domain<\/strong>” section, select the domain for which you wish to install CMS Made Simple or accept the default value.<\/p>\n

STEP 8:<\/strong> Enter the directory where you want to install this CMS in the “In Directory<\/strong>” text box or accept the default value.<\/p>\n

STEP 9:<\/strong> In the “Site Name<\/strong>” section, enter the website name. The website name is displayed in the title bar of the user\u2019s web browser by default when the user visits your website.<\/p>\n

STEP 10:<\/strong> Enter the administrator username in the “Admin Username<\/strong>” field.<\/p>\n

STEP 11:<\/strong> Enter the administrator password in the “Admin Password<\/strong>” field.<\/p>\n

STEP 12:<\/strong> In the “Admin Email<\/strong>” field, enter the email address of the website administrator.<\/p>\n

STEP 13:<\/strong> From the “Select Language<\/strong>” list box, select the default language for the application.<\/p>\n

STEP 14:<\/strong> Click on the “+<\/strong>” icon for expanding the Advanced Options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

STEP 15:<\/strong> In the “Database Name<\/strong>” section, enter the name of the database that has to be created for the application or accept the default value.<\/p>\n

STEP 16:<\/strong> In the “Table Prefix<\/strong>” section, enter the database table prefix or accept the default value.<\/p>\n

STEP 17:<\/strong> If you don\u2019t want to receive any email notifications when the application updates are available, then click on the “Disable Update Notifications<\/strong>” check box.<\/p>\n

STEP 18:<\/strong> In order to receive the website configuration information once the installation process is complete, enter an email address in the field “Email installation details to<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

STEP 19:<\/strong> Go through the installation options and settings once again and if everything looks good, click on “Install<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n
