While working with an FTP client like FileZilla, it is recommended to establish a secure connection through FTPS. Here is the complete guide to do that:<\/p>\n

Quick Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open \u2018Site Manager\u2019 in FileZilla<\/li>\n
  2. Select \u2018FTP \u2013 File Transfer Protocol\u2019 in the Protocol drop down menu<\/li>\n
  3. Select \u2018Require explicit FTP over TLS\u2019 in the Encryption dropdown menu<\/li>\n
  4. Click on \u2018OK\u2019 to close the Site Manager<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It is recommended to use FTPS and FileZilla along with explicit FTP in place of TLS for connecting through FTP. It is important to note here that if your FTP client attempts to utilize SFTP (SSH), your IP address will be blocked by the Firewall unless you have enabled the SSH previously and you are using the correct port.<\/p>\n

    You will have to open FileZilla and look for the \u2018Site Manager\u2019 option.<\/p>\n

    Once you click on \u2018Site Manager\u2019, you will have to configure all the settings shown below:<\/p>\n
