Perform the following steps to import .sql file into a Postgre database :<\/p>\n

(i) Log in to your cPanel account.<\/p>\n

(ii) Open phpPgAdmin<\/strong> tool.<\/p>\n

(iii) Now click on the PostgreSQL<\/strong> link present at the left tree menu and log in to the Postgre<\/strong> server using your cPanel details.<\/p>\n

(iv) Identify and select the database that you want to import data into and then click on the SQL<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

(v) Select one of the two options :<\/p>\n

(a) Either paste the SQL queries in the provided field or<\/p>\n

(b) Upload a local file to be executed.<\/p>\n

Press the Browse<\/strong> button and locate the .sql file on your local computer, to execute a local Postgre SQL script<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

(iv) Click on the Run<\/strong> button. Queries from your file will get uploaded and executed on your database.<\/p>\n
