Steps to Create a Custom WordPress 404 Error Page<\/h3>\n

  1. At first, login to your cPanel Account<\/strong> and from the Files<\/strong> section, select File Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. In File Manager<\/strong>, go to the directory \u2013 public_html<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. On the top right corner, click the Settings<\/strong> icon and enable Show Hidden Files<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Right click the .htaccess file and click Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. You can create a new .htaccess file, if you can\u2019t find one by clicking the +File<\/strong> icon on the top left corner.<\/li>\n
  6. Then add ErrorDocument 404<\/strong> \u201cPage not found\u201d<\/strong> to the .htaccess file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Steps to Set Up the Error Handlers via the .htaccess File<\/h3>\n

    1. Login to your cPanel account and go to the \u201cFile Manager\u201d<\/strong> under the Files<\/strong> section.\"\"<\/li>\n
    2. You will be redirected to File Manager Tool<\/strong>. Now go to the \u201cpublic_html\u201d<\/strong> directory.\"\"<\/li>\n
