Follow these simple steps to point a domain to HostGator through MilesWeb.
- Find the nameserver details through the HostGator welcome email, customer portal, or within your mPanel dashboard.
- Next, you have to update the DNS settings by pasting the nameserver details into the domain registrar’s DNS zone settings.
After the updates are made to my DNS record, we will initiate DNS Propagation. That can take up to 24 hours, during which your website may be unreachable. Don’t panic, that is normal. Simply give it a minute, and your website will be available on the web.
