Verifying domain ownership is a major security measure for any domain owner to follow. Moreover, a domain can only be connected to one website at MilesWeb. Verification is necessary to connect to a website hosted under a different account. You can do it by adding a TXT record ot the DNS zone.
- Verify the verification record
- Click Add website on the Websites list in mPanel.
- Your domain name should be entered here. You will receive a notification if the domain is registered under another Hostinger account. Select the domain and click Next.
You’ll find the details of the domain verification:
- To copy the TXT value, click the copy button next to it.
- Add the TXT record
- Go to the DNS zone for your domain:
- Go to the domain’s DNS Zone in mPanel if your domain points to MilesWeb through nameservers.
Access the platform where the DNS zone is managed if your domain points elsewhere through nameservers (NS records).

After adding the TXT record, allow up to 24 hours for the changes to propagate. Once propagation is complete, return to the Websites section in mPanel and add the site to your hosting plan. You’ll notice that the verification step is no longer necessary.
