IP Deny Manager allows you to block a range of IP addresses to prevent them from accessing your site. You can also enter a fully qualified domain name, and the IP Deny Manager will attempt to resolve it to an IP address for you. It can be used to restrict access for specific countries, ISP’s without restricting access to whole server.
Login to your cPanel account and access IP Deny Manager under Security. You can deny the IP’s by adding them under Add an IP to deny. Below are the formats in which IP’s can be denied.
192.168.1333 – Single IP Address
192.168.13-192.168.140 – Range
192.168.15-40 – Implied Range
192.168.13/32 – CIDR Format
192. – Implies 192.*.*.*
You can delist the IP’s on the same page under Current IP addresses being blocked. IP Deny Manager feature is available with our cPanel hosting plans.
