We participated as an exhibitor in DrupalCon Asia event that was held in IIT Bombay, Powai. It was a four-day long event from February 18 – 21. We got an opportunity to interact with hundreds of Drupal users, they were amazed to see us at the event, as we were the only web hosting provider at the event. Many DrupalCon Asia attendee were under impression that good web hosting providers exist outside India and the cost of Indian hosting is high. Our team managed to changed the mindset of people and offered free account for testing the service with price match guarantee.
The only person we knew was Megan Sanicki COO, she was spearheading the Drupal Organizing team and we were in discussion with her right from the beginning when we planned to participate as a sponsor. We were delighted to meet our old friends from past Mumbai and Pune events. The cost of ticket was around Rs.5000 INR.
