The following abstract is for those who want to make their articles pleasing for the readers and are looking for the answer in Google (or other search engines).

Before you start writing on anything, here are two recommendations:

1) Check first that there is a logical volume for the subject you will be writing on. You cannot expect traffic on your blog if the subject matter or the topics about which you speak, do not have a reasonable volume of searches.

Remember this: “Behind every great article there is a lot of research”. If you write a good article on something that has lowest or no searches, it is going to be of no use.

2) Your article should make a clear response to the query that has been made.

Now let’s check the techniques:

If you are looking for natural positioning, check out these points!

  • A number of words: The longer the better texts. At least 400 words!
  • Refresh rate: The more the better, 2 or 3 weekly.
  • Text should be easy to read, without spelling mistakes and grammatical errors and 100% original.
  • You can use bold and italics to cut the monotony of the text and highlight key phrases but you should not put in the keywords bold unless it is really important to the text.
  • Divide the logical content with H2 and H3 tags. Especially long tail keywords!
  • Use internal linking to help users and search engines. The anchor text should be the phrases that describe the website or landing page.
  • External links: If it is necessary to mention important sites and they are not trusted, add the rel = “nofollow” attribute. If it is not going to contribute to reading, it is better to avoid adding such links.

SEO Strategies and your HTML code

Your keyword should appear in:

  • Entry Title: Put the exact keyword and possibly at the beginning. This will then attribute <title>. Thanks to our SEO plug-in.
  • In the URL entry (permalink).
  • Meta Descriptions: This is where the exact keyword should be used once because it helps to make more click on the SERPs, as it appears to be bold.
  • At least once, it should be exactly written in the first paragraph if possible.
  • If the image is related, add alternative text.
  • Sub subtitles or headers H2 – H3.

Some surefire key SEO for images

Always affix the alternative text, and a title attribute if necessary. The alternative text describes the image to Google and people who for some reason cannot see the image can know about the topic that is covered. If possible use an image that directly connects with our key topic and include alternative text word in it. The “title” attribute is what appears when we place our mouse over additional aid and should not be equal to the alternative text. The image name helps in better positioning of the article or image in searches so avoid generic names like 234234.jpg. The image size should not exceed 100 Kb (can use tynyjpg.com, GIMP, Paint or any image editor to compress the size).

For what reasons your articles will NOT appear on Google

  • Do not do Keyword Stuffing! Insert or repeat a lot of keywords aimed at search engines, which do not make sense and are annoying to users. Create your content for users, not for search engines!
  • Having type text blocks “frequent misspellings used to reach this page” with little value to user.s
  • Hidden text for users, but visible to search engines.
  • Redo (or copying) existing content, because it will bring very little added value to users.

Last but not least: SEO for WordPress!

Our SEO strategies for WordPress can be easily implemented if we use SEO by Yoast plugin or some other one that you are comfortable with. Simply placing our keyword, it will indicate if your article is well optimized or not.
